I've just lost core energy...thanks Volnation

We win some this year and our RB's look good we should get three stud RB's. If TP wants to be one then fine. If not, we will get three stud ones with or without him. Things will be getting better.

Treyvon Paulk now has more than a dozen offers with the most recent coming from Georgia Tech, Tennessee and West Virginia.

He came back from an unofficial visit to Tennessee a week or two ago and the Class of 2014 running back was blown away by what the Vols have to offer.

"I liked it a lot. It was a good place, good coaches. I had a good time there. They're going to run a spread hurry-up," he said.

"The school that's sticking out the most to me right now is probably Tennessee."

It seems our recruits are all now saying we are running the spread. It was my impression that jones was going to try and sell recruits that wasn't the case.

Depends on the recruit :)

We're running the pro style, hurry up, spread, down hill running, two TE, 5 wide offense.

I think he just doesn't want to appear to be finesse.

The Jones football system is not a finese spread offense.

Describe it as our football often spread out.

Or maybe more appropriately a sadistic spread offense. Spread the defense out and hit them hard where it hurts over and over again. :)

To be honest I think he's probably saying something like "we are going to be running both depending on the talent we have" then says something specifically about the players position. I can say now I don't think his play style will hinder us too much.. There might be the occasional recruit, and we are going after different styles of players (specifically on the OL).

As far as Paulk goes, I have a good feeling he ends up a Vol.

Who cares, BJ's the coach, let him run what he wants.

Who cares???

The point of the post was to indentfy what recruits think is going to be run and I am very certain that is relevant here in the recruiting forum. I could care less and support jones either way.

If he says they're running a spread than they're gonna run a spread. There's your answer.

BJ has always run the spread and he is not going to change that. That is why some fans are hesitant to jump into the water in February and proclaim it to be warm and nice.

My biggest qualm, is that we are recruiting smaller offensive linemen and defensive tackles to fit the coaching schemes. I want to see us recruit the best players in the nation at every position and send them onto the NFL.

When people hear "spread," they think Chip Kelly's offense, or even Urban Meyer's offense. That's not exactly the case. CBJ doesn't run that style of spread, even though it was similar when he was able to use Zach Collaros.
