Graduated from Cartersville a few years ago. Don't really know Brooks personally, but I think if we offer we have a fair shot. I think his family isn't really fans of a specific college team. His dad is his coach. Not sure if this effects his decision in any fashion but his brother was friends with Colin Barber (UGA punter), again I don't think he ends up at UGA, but who knows. He also has a pretty good teammate in 3* WR TL Moore

Sorry to hear that. To hell with the Purple Hurricanes.

XOXO,

A proud Cass grad.
We don't even play you guys anymore though. Why can't we be friends?

Cartersville Transplant here. I enjoy going to watching the Hurricanes, and like throwing my two cents in.

Frank Barden is his dad, and he's established himself pretty well at Cartersville. Won a state title, and is no stranger to the playoffs. Coached Ronnie Brown. Anyhow, I've heard several in town say he changed his scheme for his son. Perhaps that switching to the spread would puff his numbers, thus getting him more looks. Maybe it worked if he's getting serious looks from top programs. Anyhow, I think his arm looks pretty descent. They had a great season, but their playoff loss falls on his shoulders. There were several bad throws for interceptions that changed that game. I hate it for him, but that's the truth. Also heard that his best bud was Hayes Lynn. Apparently Hayes is very intelligent, and last I heard he was going Ivy League full ride. I personally like watching Hayes. May not have been SEC material, but guy played with grit. gonna miss seeing him play.

He definitely changed his scheme, but it want directly to fit his son. It benefits all the players. There is a lot more passing with Brooks starting and its a good thing for the team. Not saying you were disagreeing, just stating my opinion.

I certainly enjoy watching them more on the new scheme.
