He was a SC lean going into this visit and was close to committing so if anything UT made him rethink somethings. Can't be mad with getting a kid on campus and making up ground.

Some fans have to realize we can't get them all. Kid has fun here and enjoys it but SCAR has good coaches and a College HOF level coach. Also the defense has been a calling card as well as the "Clowney factor". If people think him being on ESPN week after week hasn't been good for SCAR they are crazy. Time to roll up out sleeves and get to work like we've been doing.

Definitely realize we won't "get em all". I would say, at this point, this kid is exhibit A. I'm sure bUTch and the boys will keep working on him diligently if they think he fits their plans. It's also very very early.

I'm hoping its referencing the attitude around our program. Not that he would remember 98, but its pretty obvious this staff is working hard to bring that type of success back to Rocky Top.

Pretty sure tradition is a huge part of weekends and visits like the one he just had. This staff is doing a great job of learning and teaching our tradition IMO.

sportsmommy, what are UT's chances having your son play for the Vols? Do you and your son like the new staff? From what I've read you're a big fan of USC?

Ron, did she come on the visit last weekend with Bryson? Im trying to go back and see if it said anywhere that she did...and if she gave any feedback...

Have to hope that he returns and brings mom. I think our staff will do a great job with the way they are emphasizing the family atmosphere. From what all the former players and even MZTERRY have had to say, they seem to be genuine, not putting on a show. I think that is the most telling.

At least the kid says where UT stands regarding his recruiting. There is still plenty of time to improve is view of UT in his recruitment.
