“The fan base is much different,” Williams said. “Ole Miss fans, you know, they’re ahhhh. But Tennessee fans … they’re on another level.”

On former teammate Raijon:

“I’ve talked to him about it,” Williams said. “He said he loves the campus, loves everything. He said the fans are crazy. He loves it, wouldn’t trade it.”

“I feel more at home here in Knoxville since I’ve been here more,” Williams explained. “I’ve been kicking it with the players and coaches, as well. I really feel kind of at home here. I’m loving the Tennessee atmosphere.”

“Yeah,” Williams said. “That’s real cool having the head coach spend time with me.”

On top ranked class:

“That means a lot,” Williams said. “That means they’re really building something special here.”Asked if it would mean anything special to join a top-ranked class, Williams grinned smugly and replied: “I can’t say.”

Being a little nit picky here, but I don't understand why they call people former teammates just because they went to the same high school. Rajion graduated in 2010 while Williams was still an 8th grader.

Either way, it does help us having a guy from his high school on our team, whether they played next to each other or not at all. Interesting to see how many commits we get this week.

Jason Carr will almost assuredly be a DT, and Barnett was measured at 6'3" and a half at the opening iirc. Give him a chance. If you're right you can always say "I told you so" after :).

Silent IMO. Butch probably asked him to wait a few weeks or a month to spread out the booms. Just like he has done so far with the entire class the good times just keep on rolling! :clapping:

Chris Williams.

We take Hendrix at SDE. That'd give us Hendrix, Henderson, Jordan Williams, Lewis, Vereen, Vickers, Miller, and Brown at DE with Chris Williams, Saulsberry, O'Brien, Carr, Barnett, and Humphreys at DT (and hopefully a JuCo).

That's of course if we could only take one between the two.
