Monroe (Ga.) Area safety Junior Reed is still waiting for his first offer to come in, but if the recent interest he's seeing from coaches is any indication, it could be coming quickly.

Reed recently attended Tennessee's junior day and received very good feedback from Vols' defensive back coach Willie Martinez.

"I liked the way they have everything set up over there," Reed said of Tennessee. "I had a chance to spend time with Coach Martinez and some of the players and they want me to come up again this weekend."

He's also hearing from Mississippi State and Minnesota, and is expecting offers now that he has registered with the clearinghouse.

If he gains 140 pounds and grows a few inches he could be a pretty good DT IMO.

He's currently at 175 lbs. If he gains 20-25 lbs over the next year he could be an SEC-caliber safety. If not, unless he is a serious hitter, he would be more suited as a c
