SIAP but DJ Smith told Wes Mitchell with USCe's 247 site that he will take his OV to USCe this weekend, and it is still a possibility that he will take an OV to UT and Miami before NSD.

Obviously, this has been discussed a ton already, but there is no reason to not keep the door open. Recruiting gets very fluid during the last month before NSD.

Unless McDowell decides to take a last minute trip, I think wasting an OV on Smith would not be a good idea. If we only have a half dozen OV's to use this last few weeks before NSD, better to use it on kids you would actually take a commitment from. JMO

The only way he flips to UT is if we lose a safety commitment between now and his OV. And I don't see that happening. Jmo
