You definitely have to be enthusiastic about this staff. All I have been reading from these visits is that these guys had a great time and feel great about the program and where it is heading.

Go VOLS!!!!

I know what you mean. Everyone leaves talking about how much they loved it and they are definitely gonna have to take another visit. Its very refreshing after the whole Dooley debacle.

Burton was here. He likes the Vols and they are his only offer. I've seen him and once he gets out to some camps he will pick up more offers. Good looking prospect.

Myron looks good in Orange, also looks like a good prospect. We are his only offer but will most likely get more huh, what are we seeing him as? Big tall DB? Or what

The recruiting sites are awesome:

Rivals - H:6'1" W:202lbs
247 - H:6'2.5" W:190lbs
Scout - H:6'3" W:185lbs

According to 247 he has a Clemson offer and 3/10/2013: Myron Burton named Co-WR MVP of the VTO Prep 100 in Atlanta.

That would be my question as well. Seems with his HT/WT, WR would be his future position and I can't see us taking him as such. We would have to miss on 4-5 guys before we were looking to take Burton.

"I have been up to*Tennessee*a couple of times this year now. I was up there for Junior Day earlier and then I went back for their spring game last weekend,"*Myron Burton told Scout.

"Tennessee offered me a scholarship to play wide receiver when I was up at their Junior Day. It was either late February or early March when that happened.

I was watching film with Coach Thigpen and he told me that he liked me, that he liked my size, and that they were looking for some bigger wide receivers in this class like me, and that is why he offered me. It was big news for me."

I went back up there for their spring game and it was great. I have been staying in touch with Coach Thigpen, so it was nice to get up there again. There was a lot of orange there and I like it a lot."

"There is a great vibe there. They have great fans, the atmosphere there is nice, and it feels like family there."

When asked about his interest in the Vols, he said, "I have big-time interest in Tennessee. I like how they look at me as a person, not just as a recruit or as a player. I like them a lot."

"Mississippi State,*Missouri,*Auburn,*Clemson,*Florida State, and some others are showing interest in me right now."I am heading to Florida State,*Ohio State,*Arkansas, Missouri, and some other SEC schools this summer for one-day camps. I want to show all the coaches what I can do."

Question about Burton, and some of the other WR/ATH types in general. How often do they grow into productive LBs?

Haha, but we used to have kind of a pattern of taking RBs and turning them into LBs. I guess that's a different deal, but we seem to have a lot of WR/ATH types signing up to play, and I just wonder if there is any chance that some of these guys will beef up and play somewhere else. I guess it's kind of a dumb question though. Sorry.
