14 FL WR Lawrence Lee (Previous UT commit)

Who transfers is the question. They won't play over there either with the caliber of DBs we're in on. Wharton can't play CB in the SEC. IMO

I think we are gonna rotate in a ton a WR's in an effort to keep the offense moving fast and everyone fresh. There is room for multiple slot guys.

Just curious why do you think Wharton can't play corner in the SEC? He has very good size for a corner or will after he gains a few pounds. Dudes fast enough I think. Hips maybe?

he's a little small and he is crazy sick with the ball in his hands

Obviously your not listening to Bob.

Peterman in the shotgun he throws it across the middle to Howard uh Pig who makes the catch and this is Lee with in into the Chegger boards. It looked like Pig but instead it was Lee with his first touchdown as a Vol.

LMAO so true

He's more like 5'10.

I disagree I think he's closer to 6'0" then to 5'10" but if your right that is a little smallish but probably about average for an SEC corner. Quick check shows that 5 of the top 20 NFL cb prospects are 5'10" or less.

I've never seen him listed under 6'0" and he claims 6'1" so I'm guessing he is at least 5'11" which is good cb size as long as it adds a little muscle. You're right he does have mad skills with the ball in his hands. I'm not saying he should play corner over any other position. I was just curious why some say he can't play cb in the SEC.

"I'm pretty anxious to meet everyone and very excited because we do have a lot of guys who are coming in with a lot of talent. Then, you have these guys that are such great coaches that can make you even that much better. It's crazy what could happen and how good the team could be."

Lawrence Lee ‏@ll_dos 1h
I wonder people shut up, if I get 1500 receiving yards this year

people must be giving this kid crap for making the ESPN top 300

Freaking haters, I thought his film was outstanding, blazed right by everybody. This kid is dyno-mite with the ball in his hands. Clever pick up by CBJ, none of us saw it coming. And I'm quite satisfied. Hope you tweeter bugs are cheering him up, letting him know he is a top 10 WR ;)

Ya know, looking at Lee's height, weight, and speed, it makes me think of one my best buds who plays for ULM right now (Ajalen Holley, RsFr Wr). He had about the same numbers in HS, but man he absolutely dominated.

I can count less than 2 times that I've ever seen him get caught from behind. He has amazing football instincts, and is incredibly quick. Posted a 3.85 shuttle at the 11' Nike Combine in Dallas (fastest of the camp), was also 1 of 3 WRs selected for the All Combine team, and 1 of 30 with a SPARQ score over 100.

I swear he could be playing at an SEC school, but his coach obviously didn't know how recruiting works, and I didn't either at the time! If I had known how important going to camps and such things are I would've driven him out to Knoxville for team camp myself!! He got the invite! I still have the pic he sent me of the Orange envelope! Haha. He's a rock solid like 185-190 now, and he's pretty sure he'll be seeing the field this year. I'm incredibly excited to go watch him play a few games, ULM's offense fits his skill sets perfectly!

I figure Lee will have the same type of roll in our offense. bUTch know's how to recruit football players, and football players who fit his scheme!

..Oh, and I can post links! (Or you can google)
