A lot of talent comes out of Lakeland HS. Usually a straight pipeline to UF though. Chris Rainey, Michael and Maurkice Pouncey all 3 from Lakeland.

I have a friend whose father use to do some assistant coaching for Lake Gibson. He warned me of Taylor coming out of HS, but being the Gator fan he is, I ignored him.

One school that is standing out to Gant currently is Tennessee. He's learning more about the Vols every day and really hopes to visit Tennessee sometime this summer.

"They are a good school," Gant said. "I've been talking to their coaches. They have a good staff and I like coach Gillespie. He told me that he used to be in Florida and they want to get more Florida players up there. He seems like he's down to earth and a cool guy. He's told me they need help in the secondary and that's big to me."
