""My research has been watching them on the TV and watching them play and I like them a lot," Law said. "I think that's the school I want to go to but I just want to go up there and check everything out, the environment, see if it feels like home and somewhere I can just be myself."

"I feel like they're getting back to being the old Tennessee and back to being ranked," Law said. "They are doing a great job and they are playing a lot of young guys. If I were to go to Tennessee, by the time I was there we would be really good."

"Right now, I want to major in business, so I want to see teachers, see classrooms, see the business building and mostly meet the coaches, get to know the coaches and see if I feel it's home and I want to meet the players," Law said.

"I'm focusing on school before I make a decision, but right now I'm going to make a decision in January," Law said.

Not a lot of info on this guy. If he plans on waiting until January he may be out of luck. I would think we would have some others higher on the recruiting board.

Now, I know there are going to be some questions about Law so hopefully here are some answers to some of those.

First, take a look at his film before you judge on the two-star ranking. I wouldn't be surprised if that changes after his senior season.

Second, there are some grade issues here, and as he says in the story, he's going to work on school before making a decision in January.

Lastly, you'll probably see that he is listed as a Utah commitment on other sites. He told me this week that there was some miscommunication between him and the coaches there and that he is not committed to Utah but is high on them, as well as Tennessee.

Doubt he's a take with guys like Chris James, Darrel Williams, and Scott still on the board. Right?

Last resort take. Good thing is grades allow the staff to slow play and still be in great shape to get him if we need him late in the process

Didn't someone post something saying Paulk has already been told he will not be forced to accept a GS?

I think it was along the lines that we will honor his scholarship...which is vague enough to mean he'll sit out this fall and rehab then be a part of the '15 class.

Fortenberry said when schools first saw his junior film he had offers from Michigan, OSU and many other top schools but then his grades became a big issue and now it's UT, Utah, WVU and Iowa State who's in the running for his services. But that the kid can play.

The 1st name that popped into my mind when I saw this kid was Jonathan Franklin. Perimeter burner in HS that became a very good between the tackles back in college.

Regardless of film it's clear his grades force him into being a wait and see. Read the VQ report

Yeah maybe when Dooley was around that would work but not a lot of room for wait and sees this year.

Actually, I think it is the other way around. If the staff misses on Scott and James, then we can wait as long as we want if we definitely want another RB. It is basically a no-lose situation.
