Tennessee has offered Havana (Fla.) East Gadsden three-star offensive tackle Derrick Kelly. Kelly, a former Kentucky commitment, has recently picked up offers from Florida, Florida State, LSU, and others. Auburn is also interested.

"I think this might be one to keep an eye on. Kelly's stock has risen quite a bit in recent weeks, and I think he might be pretty high on Tennessee's board right now."

Butch is going to have to knock down a NCAA wall to make room for these recruits.

Inb4 Hialeahgayturd comes in and says because we are interested in him, he has little talent, the UF coaching staff has passed on him and he is way overrated.

"It came out of nowhere for me so I was kind of surprised," Kelly said. "It's a good thing because it gives me more options and more things to think about."

On Mahoney:

"He showed me the facilities and stuff they have going on and he told me about what they expect to do in the future," Kelly explained. "He explained everything to me good. I'm definitely interested in learning more about Tennessee."

"It's kind of exciting to know there's an opportunity to start or play as a true freshman," Kelly added. "It's still too early because I've got to talk things over with my mother before we scheduled anything yet," Kelly added.

"I'm looking forward to checking out their academic support and just seeing if they have a good family environment because those are the things I'm looking for," Kelly said.

How the hell is this kid a 3 star with offers from FSU, Florida, LSU, UT, and South Carolina?

Seems like linemen always start low. It's funny how their ranks will increase even after the season ends. I wonder if they evaluate OL film later in the year.

Because the folks at recruiting websites don't know how to spot talent.

Is it just hard to project linemen or what? I mean when a kid has an offer from most SEC schools and a team in the NC he has to be pretty special.

I think this kid is a future Nole! His twitter account shows nothing, but a kid that is a huge FSU fan.

I'm not sure if we can pull this one. Then again you just never know. When you have The Butch you have a chance!

I think offensive line is the hardest group to evaluate and project how they will develop as they get older.

If they land Prince, they wouldn't take him anyway.
