Edouard completed 64 of 132 passes for 926 yards and 9 TDs with 9 interceptions last year. He also rushed 73 times for 559 yards (7.7 ypc) and 7 TDs.

Miami already has 5 scholarship QBs (including 3 freshmen) on their roster and 2 QB commitments other than Edouard.

Best news here is Powell trying to recruit someone away from the U other than being recruited to the U.

somehow i doubt miami is exactly shaking in their boots over that. therefore, straight cash flow to Alin. basically playing chicken with the ncaa atp

I was messing around with that comment haha. 005 is my boy and told me he was starting **** for no reason. I actually pull for Tennessee second to Miami, and have said if Edouard decommitted, I hope he goes to Tennessee.

"Next year, we get that elite Quarterback! Once they see our roster, man the 5*'s will be lining up at the door when they see what Coach ______ has done with _____." - 73% of VN posters, circa 2013, 2012, 2011, 2010, 2009, 2008, 2007, 2006.

SN, I know it's been discussed before, but look at the talent that came from that 2006 class.

As soon as Ferguson and Dobbs signed their LOI's, I felt our chances of getting a top 20 type QB in this class was very low. Not surprised at all with it being the case. Taking (2) Elite 11 guys in 1 class is going to cause top QB to look elsewhere, especially when your coming off 3 losing seasons.

I like Alin, I liked Darlington the most from the athletic QBs Ive seen so far.

Yeah, I know this will quickly go into a debate on how you define elite. Most will draw the line at "Elite 11". I'm personally thinking along the lines of a top 3 QB who has offers from everybody. Cornwell fits the bill for this year.

Of course, no one know how "elite" someone truly is until gamedays.

Alin is good, but he's not Harris. He has improved a lot since last season, and works hard at his craft. He won't go anywhere that he's not offered as a QB. He's set on that.

I feel Harris sees the field better than Edouard, but I'll check him out this fall & see how much more he's progressed.
