Kid looks legit. Would love to have his signature in this class. Possible third RB prospect?

On UT:

“I absolutely loved Tennessee, they loved me. I weighed in at 215 and ran a 4.4, they absolutely loved me at Tennessee. They have the nice facilities, they have the people, they showed us a good time,” he said.

“I talked to Coach Butch (Jones), he pulled me to the side, I talked to him for a little bit in his office, I talked to the Running Backs Coach (Robert Gillespie) for awhile. I actually went to the camp as a DB, they offered as a running back. Now they don’t know what they want me as.”

On Clemson:

“It didn’t impress me as much as the other ones, it was nice, it was flashy, they had the new indoor facility and the beautiful new uniforms. I just didn’t feel like it was the place I wanted to be for three or four years,” Harrell said.

On Louisville:

“I can say Louisville was another favorite. My guy Richard Benjamin went there, he showed us a good time. They pulled us to the side and took us on a separate tour, and it was just something that I really liked, the dorms that they stay in (were nice),” Harrell said.“The coaching staff is unbelievable, I love how they work out with the kids, I just loved it.”

On UK:

“Kentucky was nice. If we would have stayed there longer, I probably would have liked it more. I didn’t get to see everything, I was only there for like an hour. I talked to the Head Coach (Mark Stoops), I talked to a lot of the coaching staff. They had this really unique video they showed me, and it was nice,” he said.

On Vandy:

“It was not really what I expected it to be. I know they’re on the up rise, they just won a bowl game and they have some good players there. I liked Coach (Bob) Shoop, and I like Coach (James) Franklin, but I wasn’t really feeling Vanderbilt that much,” he said.

Wow. A kid with that size, athleticism and offer list is a 3 star?

When you look at his comments, it's hard to believe UT isn't the leader. Looks like he has SS written all over him, to me.

Very underated player. He's one of those elite athlete types that probably isn't rated as high as he should be because these "experts" cant all agree on a set position for him in college, but the guy is a big-time talent.

I wish more recruits were this straight forward with what they think about their visits, not just the "everything was good" line.

Even Featherson (sp?) said that Florida put more effort into his visit than we did.

That was great...I expect a Franklin tweet any minute now about how if you can't spot the greatness that is Vandy, you'll probably be cleaning toilets for a living or something.

Interesting that he came in as a DB. He could be a nice option at SS if McDowell goes elsewhere.
