Truitt was tweeting about he and W. Green being lock down DBs in college. Unless Powell is being moved to DB, I doubt one has a lot to do with the other.

For the record, I would rather see Stanton at RB. I think the staff has told him defense would be his future. JMO

This has to be considered a commit that is high risk for a flip. He has no offers from any of the major FL schools. Lets see what happens when he gets that offer.

He did say he was an EE and would not be visiting any more schools. Could he flip with an fsu offer? Sure he could. Let's hope he is all Vol.

Maybe Truitt is now planning on going to South Carolina w/Green and that's why the coaches locked up Powell.

I am not sure how it will unfold. Truitt's twitter sure looks like a kid who would be committing to Tennessee any day now.

I also think Truitt mentioned being a lockdown corner with Green BEFORE Green visited and announced usc was his leader. A lot of people felt we were in the lead before the usc visit.

Powell has been a take since at least late April. I posted about him almost committing then.

On the big orange caravan, hubbs and fortenberry said if he would have went to the orange and white game, he probably would have committed

they just said he loves the vols and it's one to watch. They've been on him for awhile and really like him. They said Bajakian and azzani have been on him for a while and his dad really likes them

Powell has also been tearing it up in camps. Particularly the Miami camp according to UM posters on the MB. If they didn't already have thier small back for the class, Powell would have been offered on the spot.

What is Lawrence lee saying.? I think booth is a silent due to the way he has been acting with the other commits and the story in his thread corroborated by vol74.
