Just think it would be nice having two big safeties with him and McDowell and he would probably see the field a lot quicker on defense anyway

Agreed. Perfect OLB now, chance to grow into DE maybe if he wants too, very slim chance he plays S for us.

I have to say..as outrageous as his statement was, it's miles better than the guy that suggested we move Neiko to corner.

If he had the speed, I'd be okay with it. With his measureables, I'd rather see him closer to the line covering TE's. I'd really rather see him at TE even with Helm and Wolf. I'm over not having good TE's.

Yes.... I ruled it out this morning.

I've said this before but this guy has the same frame and weight as Shaun Phillips did coming out of high school. Phillips came in as a TE in college, and was later moved to OLB where he excelled. Our defense needs more athletes anyways, and Creamer has the intangibles to be a very good OLB in time.

This move is for te best if it sticks. I think he'll have a better chance at seeing the field as linebacker down the road, but I think that he'll be a really good special teams player for a couple years before we really need him at LB when we lose Maggitt and Weatherd.
