'14 DE WR Neiko Creamer (UT commit 3/11/13)

So it became pointless when everyone did not agree with you? You did not have to respond to the question the poster asked. He asked opinions, and not everyone is going to fall in line behind you because you feel your right. Don't take it so personal.

CBJ took a lot of WRs while at Cinci that ran 4.6's. One class he took 4-5 of them.

No, its pointless because I could care less where the kid plays as long as it's good for him, but a few of you guys got you panties all tore up when people mentioned him being an OLB.

It would be silly to move him from WR IMO. The kid has shown he is a star catching the ball. I say leave him on offense. If we need help on defense, recruit/sign defensive guys. I have no doubt the kid will play wherever he is needed as he is all Vol. Offense makes the most sense to me.

I don't necessarily disagree with you, but just because he is a good enough athlete to play WR in HS doesn't mean he is going to be good enough to play that at the next level (not that you don't know that) or that it is their best position. HS coaches don't always play their players at the position they project best at for college. They put their best athletes at a position where they will get the ball in their hands because they are on a different level than most of the guys they are going up against.

That's why you see guys like Eric Berry and Marsalis Teague playing QB in HS (and Berry played CB in HS as well). As far as Creamer goes I haven't really seen enough film on him to know how good he is as a WR so I'm just talking in general here. No doubt the coaches will put him where he fits best when he gets here. Again I'm sure most people know this already. Just throwing it out there for people who might not know.

If Neiko has a killer instinct, he will play linebacker. If not, he'll play WR. Butch is good at position changes, so I'm not worrying.

Lots of guys have the size. Croom, Megatron, Andre Johnson. Let them stay and be dominate recievers. Why take a guy with a exceptional advantage like his size and speed at WR and stick him at a position where he is just another player?

Those guys are 6'5. Big difference.

I saw Creamer in person at the Orange an White game and previous to that I had scoffed at guys saying "DE?", well after seeing him all I got to say is that is one very very large human being.

Lets not forget he is being recruited as an athlete, not solely a wr. I think he could make an impact as a speed rusher.

Its a good problem to have but I would have sleepless nights trying to figure out where he would shine the brightest with his measurables.

Looks like he is practicing kicking an Alabama safety in the chest before walking into the endzone. WR all the way.

Creamer called into one of the TSR shows and said he was told he was being told he's playing WR.

I think it makes the most sense. Kid runs good routes and catches the ball well. You don't have to be a 40 time speedster to make plays in the passing game. 6'4 225lbs lined up over a LB or a smaller DB, I'll take it.
