'14 DE WR Neiko Creamer (UT commit 3/11/13)

"Everything is pretty much the same, but I am getting a lot more interest now," Creamer said. "Schools like Auburn, Maryland, Rutgers, Connecticut, West Virginia and a few others have been in contact. I'd say Rutgers and Maryland are on me the most - they've been asking my coaches about my film and things like that. So it's looking pretty good."

One of the reasons Creamer hasn't landed many offers is that he hasn't been on any campus visits this offseason. He said a lot of college coaches are waiting to see him in person before extending verbals.

"I haven't been out as much as some of the other guys on our team," Creamer said. "Mainly I've just been in the weight room and getting ready for my SAT. But I do plan on taking some visits soon."

Ideally, however, Creamer would love to hear more from Tennessee. His father, Andre Creamer, played for the Vols and was on the '86 Sugar Bowl team. The elder Creamer is now an assistant coach at ECA.

"Tennessee is a school I know pretty well and I've been there before as a kid," said Creamer, who is from the Carolina area. "I like it a lot down there and would love to be recruited by them. I was in touch with a coach there, but he left the school and I haven't been in contact since."

Creamer has re-classified to the class of 2014 (can a mod change the threat title to '14).

He said he wasn't 100% back from his ACL surgery & he wanted to give himself more time to heal & be able to earn some SEC offers.

Hubbs says Tennessee offered Creamer this week. He is a Vol legacy and has been dying to get attention from Tennessee. I'd say there's a very high chance we land this guy for next year's class if it's true that he received the offer.

If true that's awesome. One way or another he needs to be a Vol.

Hope his 40 time listed isn't right.

40 times on recruiting sites aren't generally accurate whether too fast or too slow especially for juniors and below.

Also 40 times can be very different from football speed so you can tell more from his film than his 40.

Neiko or Warthon probably one of the two. doesn't Neiko no Jahmere Irvin-sills. If we get that kid in this class then yea I would say we no doubt wold get Neiko we probably will anyway.

Neiko named Tennessee his leader and says that he's always wanted to play for Tennessee. He may visit next month per 247. He could be the next 2014 commit, IMO.

“As a 2014 recruit, if I do commit to Tennessee, I just want to make sure that the class I’m with works hard to become that SEC powerhouse they were in the ‘80s and ‘90s. That’s what I’m looking for.”

Also, really liking how CBJ has targeted a lot more of the Vol legacies than the last staff. Very smart...

I've been wanting this kid to be a Vol ever since I found his profile & I don't know why. He has great size for a WR, but he does have a knee problem. Hopefully he can bounce back from that & have a very good SR season. It will be interesting to see if his offer is committable.

If it is & he does commit that would be 2 Vol legacies already committed for the 2014 class.

I would LOVE to see Kelly Jr, Wharton, & Creamer be committed by Feb. then go into th summer recruiting for us, kind of get a "dream" class going like UGA has sold the past 2 years. We need to get that hot sauce back in recruiting.
