"Everything is pretty much the same, but I am getting a lot more interest now," Creamer said. "Schools like Auburn, Maryland, Rutgers, Connecticut, West Virginia and a few others have been in contact. I'd say Rutgers and Maryland are on me the most - they've been asking my coaches about my film and things like that. So it's looking pretty good."
One of the reasons Creamer hasn't landed many offers is that he hasn't been on any campus visits this offseason. He said a lot of college coaches are waiting to see him in person before extending verbals.
"I haven't been out as much as some of the other guys on our team," Creamer said. "Mainly I've just been in the weight room and getting ready for my SAT. But I do plan on taking some visits soon."
Ideally, however, Creamer would love to hear more from Tennessee. His father, Andre Creamer, played for the Vols and was on the '86 Sugar Bowl team. The elder Creamer is now an assistant coach at ECA.
"Tennessee is a school I know pretty well and I've been there before as a kid," said Creamer, who is from the Carolina area. "I like it a lot down there and would love to be recruited by them. I was in touch with a coach there, but he left the school and I haven't been in contact since."
