was actually talking about Butch. Franklin lost to Dooley in his first year as a head coach in OT. Butch got destroyed by Dooley. Butch Jones had a .0000 winning percentage against Dooley. pretty sure thats worse
You couldn't follow. Let me explain a little slower. Butch was destroyed by Dooley. And Dooley sucks. Butch beat Franklin. So Franklin lost to the guy that got destroyed by Dooley. You see?
But at least Dooley beat Butch with SEC talent, something Franklin couldn't do. Butch beat Franklin with Big East talent.
Lets not confuse things too much. Franklin's first year was with all Bobby Johnson players, which were predominantly Big East or lower caliber players. Bobby Johnson never signed a top 70 class. He got lucky with a few guys who turned out better than projected, but to say that Franklin was left with an SEC caliber roster is beyond a stretch.
