This is the type of kid we have been missing on defense. Just wrecking people wherever he goes. Kid has an SEC mentality when it comes to delivering the pain. Hope we can at least be a contender for him.

Would love to get something going with Cobb, this kid looks like a beast. Large body frame and fast enough to be a monster LB. definitely would be excited to get some attention from him.

Another linebacker from The Golden State that's interested in the Vols is 6-foot-2, 218-pound Los Angeles native Jamardre Cobb.

"I heard they have great, new facilities and I want to go check it out. I want to go down there on one of my official visits," Cobb said. "They have great facilities, they have a great team and great coaches and I've just heard it's great out there."

With no top group and plenty of options, Cobb said he's listening to all suitors, including the Vols.

"I'm open to everything right now," Cobb offered.

Not sure why he would want to play in Arizona's 3-3-5

Actually a perfect fit for that defense. Good speed for his size, great tackler. He'll be fun to watch..

On anothe note, why no Tennessee presence here in AZ with the addition of Fair to the coaching staff? When's the last time we pulled one out of AZ?

There were two or three guys they were looking at recently. This guy, a WR, I wanna say Jelks or something like that but I could be wrong. And a DLineman I think.

My point is a 3-3-5 defense is not exactly setting up LBs for a high draft stock. More power to whoever chooses to play there as a LB though.
