'14 CA CB Adoree' Jackson (Signed with USC)

Adoree's legal guardian is his Aunt, who lives in Southern Cal. That's the big problem, the Aunt is being woo'd by Sark. And she is listening.

According to USC and Florida insiders, his parents want him at UT, his legal guardian wants him at USC, and Adoree wants to be at Florida, I cannot even imagine the family struggle that's going on with this kid.

USC also signed some of his former teammates in an effort to pull more weight with his decision. I think he ultimately ends up at USC, and if he does, watch for his parents to move there shortly thereafter

If this is true, this is a mess, a real Charlie Foxtrot! But, ultimately the parents and the guardian should let him decide his own fate, after all it is his life, and if he wants to be at UF then Everyone else will just have to accept and respect his decision.

I am not the only pessimistic UF fan. Lots are saying that if he takes a final OV, that will be where he winds up, especially if its USC. I know that doesn't encourage UT fans. It is interesting that UT fans are (1) more optimistic on this recruit than UF fans, and (2) that UT fans seem to give UF a higher probability of getting him than UF fans give themselves.

Finally, did you notice that although UF sent its best recruiter for the home visit of Adoree, it did not send its head coach? Seems like a second bad omen for UF (along with lack of an OV) to me. Of course, I hope I am wrong.

It's just funny how some people are looking for reasons to be negative about our chances of landing him.

And I'd bet my right nut she's hardly any factor whatsoever in where he decides to go.

That's true. Being negative just comes natural to some people. Even when positives make themselves known, the negative people find a way to spin it into a negative.

Muschamp already used his in home, he cant use another. same reason we cant send CBJ, LSU cant send Miles, and USC cant send Sark.

Rumors from USC site is Adoree is visiting them unofficially this weekend, and he'll decide on his official this weekend. If it's to USC also, it's game, set, and match

In order for him to go to school in California his parents had to sign over Guardianship rights to the Aunt. That's the only way he could "legally" attend school there.

As for the LOI, yes, the Legal guardian has to sign the LOI of any recruit under the age of 18.

2 years ago a recruit committed to Georgia, and his legal guardian refused to sign the LOI for several days because he didn't want him at Georgia.

Usually it gets worked out before hand, but, just answering an earlier question

I think you're way over complicating things. My brother went to live with my grandmother to attend school - she was a temporary guardian but it's not like she could over rule my mom. In such situations, a temporary guardian is there to sign permission slips and act as a proxy parent but they're a proxy -- meaning mom and dad don't give up their rights but rather give you permission to act in their place. The same thing happens when parents go on vacation and leave the kids in the care of grandparents.

A version of this happens every single day when you send any child to school -- for the time that child is at school the school (teachers and administrators) are guardians of that child. The school's guardianship is trumped the moment you walk in to pick your kid up.

Virtually all forms say parent and/or legal guardian or sometimes natural guardian (parent) and/or temporary guardian (aunt/grandma/whoever). IOW, technically speaking his parents and his aunt could all sign his LOI but I would be surprised if anyone other than Adoree and his parents signed.

I agree. I think Florida, because of family, is currently in third place for his services. If he doubles up on USC I still wouldn't count us out. Proximity is an issue and he does favor the SEC. I still like where we're at.

You met him once, right?

One time...what, 5 minute convo and a picture? Then you followed him on twitter, right?

INSIDER!

hardly a factor? she has more time with him than any staff or even his parents the last few years. Is she going to make AJ decide one way or the other? who knows but IF she's such a "nonfactor", SC wouldn't be putting in recruiting time with her thi close to NSD.

Am I the only one who see's USC being far fetched. I'm not an insider at all. But given the information that seems to be "common knowledge". USC seems pretty unlikely. I'm still on UT or UF
