'14 CA CB Adoree' Jackson (Signed with USC)

On Thursday, Willie Martinez was in California spending time with Adoree Jackson. Jackson and Martinez have formed a good relationship, as has defensive back graduate assistant Terry Fair, who was with Jackson a good bit of time when he was on his visit.

Also, John Jancek visited with Adoree's family in East St. Louis on Thursday night as they continue to build that relationship with his family.

Tennessee wasn't the only school to see Adoree on Thursday as LSU, Florida and USC also stopped by. It isn't clear yet if Jackson plans on taking his last official visit and where it will be to. USC is still an option and his friends and coaches out on the West Coast would like to see the Trojans receive that final visit.

The feeling is there it's still pretty wide open with no one really knowing what he's doing in terms of a final decision that is now less than two weeks away.

Lot of "hmmmm" in this thread last few pages. Seems like Tennessee is the perfect stage for Jackson who seems to portend major potential beyond the college game.

As fast as this thread is progressing tonight, I don't know if this information has been posted, but Tony Basilio (yes, I know that he isn't considered the most credible source around) just posted the following: "I visited with Jamie Newberg of Scout.com yesterday who told me he believes 'The University of Tennessee is lying in the weeds' for Adoree Jackson. In other words, the Vols could be that team that emerges in the 12th hour for this five star program maker" (The Tony Basilio Show).

Ron, If we was the only school to go out and visit with the parents you have to think we are setting ourselves ahead slowly.

Things definitely seem to be trending nicely for UT. I'm really encouraged by Adam Gorney's comments tonight too. It's pretty clear his family prefers UT. Let's hope he agrees with them on NSD.

This staff meshes so well and works as a team as best as I have ever seen. They are going to bring us back to winning championships. I'm so pumped about how this staff will be dominating the recruiting world when we start winning games.

Perhaps Butch was thinking precisely in terms of this kind of staff chemistry when he made his infamous "best staff in America" comment.

I got a prediction for you... 100% chance he plays at a SEC School.. The SEC is the Farm System of the NFL.. If he could go pro now I believe he would.. The SEC has the Best Competition. Best Coaching. Best Facilities, Best Fans, Best Atmotshphere on game days.. Who knows tho

Just my 2 cents..
