I don’t know yet. I don’t know what I’m going to do yet. I know I’m gonna wanna take that visit.” “I could (take one last visit) because there’s only three schools I haven’t visited yet,” Jackson said. “Them two and Florida. I’m real comfortable with the unofficial with Florida so I don’t know if I’ll take another visit there. But if I do it would just be to hang out and get my comfort level up. If I go to UCLA or USC it would be to see things you don’t see from being there just for a day for practice. Seeing the institutions. They’re pushing hard to try to get that official.”

“First I met with USC. I seen them,” Jackson said. “Then I met with Florida. Then I met with Tennessee. I think the presentations were a lot different than when you went on your official. The only one that was the same (was) LSU pretty much because when I went up there on my official I was the only official visitor there. So it was really focused on me. Pretty much in the home visit it was the same thing. The home visit with the other schools was mostly focused on me, besides Florida because I didn’t go there on an official visit. Tennessee and USC everything was focused on me instead of having all those players there and narrow their time down to everyone else. Focus on me and what they can do for me and my family.”

Tennessee - “The message was pretty much the same. The focus was on me and what I can do. Coach (Butch) Jones is a great guy. That’s what I liked about it. It was more about building relationships from coach (Les) Miles. We shot pool. To coach Jones we shot pool. Les Miles we played darts. Coach (Will) Muschamp we shot pool. From all of those coaches we just had a good time. It was more of a good time and building that relationship so I can feel comfortable with them. A school like USC I can go up there anytime, but that’s what they’re doing, building those relationships.” Willie Martinez, Tennessee, Defensive Backs Coach - “I’ve built good relationships with. Just like with Florida they are going to put me in the best situations. They don’t want to see me fail as well.

I don't know, if LSU is hedging their bet or if they know something but Russell Gage is scheduled to come in this weekend for OV. I would assume LSU would back off RG if AJ was in the mix. Although I would not say AJ and RG are the same type player... they are both versatile.... RG projects to S/CB/WR/PR/KR.

I am very surprised more teams have not offered RG, to me he is a very good prospect and has really played well at some LSU camps at a variety of positions.

LSU is still in need of a few positions AJ could fill with the departure of 4 of the top 5 WRs, and basically no PR or KR returning. Should be an interesting couple of weeks.

It's been real quiet either way. He is a hard one to read. :)

To me RG is a take for any team but LSU's coaching staff I don't believe feels that way. That tells me they don't know as to AJ's status or they would have offered RG already.

I don't think we get him, but I think that it's really down to UT, Fla, and USC. Just don't think USC and LSU are still really in it.

It's obvious he really likes the Vols, and if he doesn't pick us then the big reasons why were he wanted to stay on the west coast, or Florida's track program and weather was a huge factor.

I hope I'm wrong, but I think he winds up at Florida.
