'14 CA CB Adoree' Jackson (Signed with USC)

What's the Advantages of Waiting Until NSD? Exposure? Notoriety? Does he honestly not know?? Does he really have to have a final 6 in the middle of Jan? No one else is choosing from 6 teams at this point..

Attention, he's getting attention, and he's eating it up

He set up an announcement with ESPN a year ago, he didnt know where he was going then. Having a top 6 gets more people interested in his announcement.

Does anybody know if he is doing the hat thing? If he cuts down his list again, I would expect 3 or 4. If not, he might end up just having 1 hat in a box/bag and putting it on.

I expect him to do it in a unique way that has never been done before. That just seems like something he would do. Strips down on ESPN only to be wearing UT boxers, for instance?

To Those Who Say He Won't Leave California.. If He Was All About Staying On The West Coast His Finalist Would Look More Like Oregon, UCLA, USC, Cal, Washington, Arizona State.. Too Many Teams In The South In The Running Late for Him To Choose USC.. In The End Mamma Knows Best... Snugs On That Orange Adidas Hat.. Parents Attend 100% of Home Games.. Ride That Adoree Money Train Right Into The NFL...

Honestly yes, I do. Highschool is one thing, junior NFL is another. There was no gaurentee he would prove his worth there in track or foosball. In the SEC, it is feast or famine for 5 star recruits. The parents can see him here for three-four years with a short drive. That being the case, I honestly see this as 50/50. Hope we get him.

IF he turns out to be as successful in college football as his current 5 star status has him in high school football then I don't expect him to be at whatever school he picks for more than 3 years.

Agree.
Realistically though I don't see his parents driving to every game unless they're seriously that dedicated. Making a 14 hour round trip drive every weekend isn't feasible for most people. Regardless, UT is still the closest school to his home town.

I didn't know Jalen Smith posted on VN.

Anything new on AJ?

Nothing new. Adoree hasn't taken calls since his in-home visits last week. I continue to think Tennessee is going to be in it to the very end because I think his parents really like Tennessee.

Now, I think Adoree really likes Florida and their track program and the fact that USC is where some of his friends are going and he's getting a lot of pressure from people out there to stay at USC.

Based on the several conversations I've had with people Adoree hasn't made up his mind yet. Even when he does, I'm sure he's not telling anyone really. He's kept everything close to the vest.

Tennessee has done a really good job recruiting him and I think, again they will be in this one all the way until signing day. I know they had the last visit with him and his family on Thursday night and they were there until late in the night and I've heard the visit went well, but again, Adoree gives nothing away so we will see.

Hopefully we can talk to him about his in-home visits.

How much stock do you put into him considering this a "business decision"? In my mind, I'm thinking football over track, and the better coaching staff is at UT. Jones had the #1 draft pick last year and I think that matters. I hope.

The last time we heard it was a business decision the kid went to OSU. So my mind is blown. Again
