'14 CA CB Adoree' Jackson (Signed with USC)

Not really news, just a post by Gorney on TOS.

Right. Jackson has lived in Southern California with his sister for the last three years. He's originally from Belleville, Ill.

As for position I think everyone is now telling him he can play all over the place - slot receiver, corner and return specialist. He only played CB at Under Armour.

Hopefully Butch got an early birthday present from Adoree' this afternoon with a silent commit!

I do not believe that is the case. Doesn't seem like the time to play. Why would a kid who values his parent's advice and guidance immediately put up a pic of him in Fla. blue. Close 2nd or 3rd, possibly 4th.

Wait, so on a scale of 1-10, we are 1-9.99.

You realize that's not him right? That was another Florida player whose first name started with an a and last name was Jackson. Adorree said something clever with the picture just can't remember

All the focus was on Adoree Jackson on Thursday as Tennessee head coach Butch Jones, the entire defensive staff, Zach Azzanni and two track coaches were in East St. Louis to see Jackson and his family as the Vols were the last team to be in the house on Thursday and stayed well into the night.

Along with Tennessee, both Florida and USC visited with Jackson in a very busy day for the family.

As for Tennessee, we continue to believe the Vols are very much in the thick of this one. Jackson's family would like to see him closer to home and Tennessee is the closest to the home out of all of his finalists. Also, as we've said before, there are some ties to Tennessee with the family.

From several people we've talked to, it's not a stretch to say his family likes Tennessee a good deal because of the location and the fact that Adoree would be able to play immediately practically wherever he wants.

Also said that USC has helped itself with the new HC and UF is in it due to track and the success of DB's. USC, UF and UT seem to be the top 3.

the only thing that worries me about Adoree, from what I've gathered, is that he doesn't appear to be a TEAM-y guy necessarily. I don't see him buying into the whole #team1XX and #brickbybrick stuff. I think he wants to be the center of attention and wants to be wanted and be the guy everyone is talking about, which isn't really the direction UT football, its coaches, nor its recruits are heading with their attitudes. He is intentionally drawing out this process so that people will drool over him. I understand that he's young and immature but not many other recruits have done that. we have 33 that have all jumped on ship and see each other as equals and are constantly supporting each other and recruiting others. He just doesn't fit the mold of our recruiting class. I would absolutely love to have him here, I just don't really see it happening. Im sorry!

I hope he is not another Da'Rick as far as his attitude is concerned. Still though, we have to take our chances on a guy with the skillset that he has!

I hope we have another Da'Rick. The kid could ball out. The kid knew that he messed up. The kid still loves our school.

I wish more people wearing orange would learn from their mistakes and thank our university for teaching them lessons that will better them for the rest of their lives.

I sometimes think Da'Rick got thrown under the bus.

I never heard of any problems with him at his new college when he transferred.

All I ACTUALLY know about him is what I have seen in person with my eyes...a guy who would go into a two double coverage, get absolutely mauled, and come up with the football.

I will remember till the day I die him getting sandwiched at the goal during the Cinci game and coming up with the ball in his hands and a smile on his face.

Maybe he was just too much man for Dooley to handle.

Dooley was a moron.

If you can get a Neon Deion, you don't say no because he's got an ego. Get over yourselves.

If you get a Neon Deion you let him play CB and punt returner and if he wants to play WR you say what the hell go for it.

You even act like his rap music is good because damn...it's Neon Deion and he's housing something in today's game.
