'14 CA CB Adoree' Jackson (Signed with USC)

All things considered, Adoree is the recruit I'd most want to have right now. Could you imagine our secondary and special teams? Speed being the key word here---we've lacked it for years. If we were to land him---it would have a huge impact recruiting and for the brand plus it would put icing on the cake for this class. This whole 2014 class is going to make a huge impact with or without Adoree---but man would that strike some fear into the hearts of the SEC.

No doubt.

AJ would be like hitting a 5k hand of blackjack on the last hand of the night after winning 25k total on the night!

It's all house money now!

Someone should post the update in the hot recruiting news stickie. That way everyone won't have to fish through this thread to find it, cause I'm sure this thread is gonna go crazy tonight.

I know people mostly just use that stickie for commitment news but previously people would post updates.

I don't wanna know. If it's bad news, I'll be sad. And if it's good news, I won't believe it. Or I will believe it and then be let down on NSD when we find out it was really bad news. I hate football.

OK, for good or bad, this is the latest I've heard on Adoree' Jackson.

First, USC, Florida and Tennessee visited him in Illinois today and I've heard these are the three programs that stand out the most and have the biggest shot at him - for different reasons.

What I've heard that could play the biggest factor is that Jackson's family is persuading him to stay closer to home and that means Tennessee and Florida might have the best shot at landing him. After three years in Los Angeles, I've heard his parents feel like they've missed out on seeing him play and they could do that if he's much closer in Knoxville or Gainesville.

From what I've heard, LSU is slipping a little bit as signing day gets closer and this person feels the three programs above have the best chance of landing him.

With the family factor already out there, that does not mean USC is not going full force to get him. Steve Sarkisian is very involved with trying to convince Jackson USC is the best place for him and that they would use him all over the field. That is a considerable draw but the family factor is also playing a major role in his recruitment.

No one knows where Jackson is going - not even those closest to him - so if you hear anybody say they know for sure it's just a guess.

After USC, Florida and Tennessee meet with him things might change and I will check back to see how the thinking has evolved. There are concerns at all three schools so nothing is a lock right now.
