I don't believe track facilities are the issue. It is the lack of performance and coaching. The Hamilton/Cheek management of the men's and women's track programs is criminal (hyperbole, but close to true). Maybe Hart can put more resources in it as the financial situation improves. If we lose a talent like Jackson, that might shine the light on the need to upgrade both programs.

Great point. The only thing that could work in our favor is that track is more of an individual sport. His problem could be confidence in the coaching he would get.

His top schools are coming out After the Army Game.. Leads me to believe that he is waiting to see who commits during the game to eliminate teams.. Since we have no one committing during the game I assume that we are a finalist..

That really narrows it down. Did he earlier release his top 45? The kid is a great player and I hope we get him (although I really doubt it'll happen), but he is as attention starved as they come! Jeeze man. Is he not confident in his ability? It's getting a little pathetic at this point.

Year in and year out kids wait till NSD and build it up. This isn't an uncommon thing. AJ is doing what hundreds of HS athletes have done the past several years. Not sure why it's bothering you so much.
