roper has been oc/qb coach since 08

not to mention the great offense pease had to work with that yr compared to what duke had

regardless of what you guys like to think you know roper has been duke's OC/QB for the last 5 yrs while sal hadnt coordinated a d in over a decade and when he did it was bama a&m for 1 yr lol then illinois st for 1 yr before that so it was obvious he sucked

That's a very important part of being a great HC, hiring great assistants. Hiring the wrong assistants can cost you your job, as we Vol fans have seen first hand.

Completely agree, BUT let's not pretend that Dooley was a good coach. Dooley, in many ways, shot himself in the foot.

Roper is a good guy but he in no way helps your recruiting this year and is a huge question mark despite anything you say.

That's what you don't get. Roper has never been a OC. David Cutcliffe is the OC at Duke. I don't care what their titles say.

Roper will be a good OC at Florida. The question is whether they have enough offensive talent to win enough games for Muschamp to keep his job.

did you see what duke did to miami with far inferior talent? the game he called against unc was really nice too didnt watch much duke but i wouldnt write roper off as some kind of bum taking duke to 10-2 and damn near beating a&m in a shootout has me pretty excited about our new OC

if muschamp can get the offense down you'll see us in atl real soon maybe this coming yr
