It's very likely Ramsey would be a Vol if Butch was hired a year before. It was too late once Butch was hired just like with Bell and Lawson.

Maybe so but what I'm saying is Ramsey visits last year are nothing like Adoree's visits this year. Ramsey openly mocked where he was visiting due to Dooley and never had any intention of coming here just wanted the benefits of visiting.

Adoree, OTOH, is actually interested in UT and our coaching staff.

AJ is such a threat with out without the ball. Getting him here would be huge. And the difference between a couple wins and losses. I know we got a chance with him. But getting his commitment would send Shockwaves across the SEC. And make all of us even more excited to be Vol fans. And I realize we get our Cherry next year but I would gladly take another this year.

Jackson likes every school, and tells their coaches what they want to hear for the most part. He's playing the recruiting game like a boss.

I think it comes down to Florida, LSU, USC, or us.

I don't think Malone will have as big of an effect as people think. He's made friends with players are every school he's favoring, and talks to them all often.

Florida =track (their coach is the Olympic coach and they've been the best in the world at training his event) and a good football school
LSU = DBU and a pretty decent track team
USC= close to his current home, close to his friends, and a decent track team. Not sure his vibe on Sark though.
Us = great recruiting class to come in with, but our track program is beyond terrible. He better love Butch's peanut butter hot sauce.

Then you have FSU fans who say he's going there, Illinois thinks he's going there, and I've heard Alabama is trying to get him to visit...never seen someone play recruiting so well, usually mods and analysts know where the kids going in advance, but right now everyone is straight guessing.

I've not heard anyone from Illinois who thinks they actually have a shot.
