'14 CA CB Adoree' Jackson (Signed with USC)

I don't think CP has really "shred the NFL." He has 35 receptions for 395 yards for 2 touchdowns. He is the least productive WR taken in the first round. Da'Rick Rodgers got 30% of CP's seasonal production in one game.

Check Special Teams and his impact there...1199 yds., 2 TDs and one return housed for 109 yds. (league record) Route running has always been a problem for CP due to lack of teaching. Two more years in the NFL and he will be a league leader.

BTW...Your statement is plain stupid and a feeble attempt to try and prove some weak point.

maybe I read something from an old article, but from what I took from it is he is going to participate in the competition and could possibly earn a fifth star. if that information is from an old interview I apologize.

It was mentioned in the recruiting tweets thread that the article posted on here was from May. Said article was referring to one of Rivals Five Star Challenge Camps, and I don't think there are any more of those for the '14 class. I could be wrong about all of this, but I'm pretty sure that's the case. Just trying to help.

Can someone tell me what happened to our track program? Not really in the loop on it but know we use to have a really good team.

In one word: administrators. They fired Bill Webb who had a 52-1 (.981) meet record with 4 SEC titles and 2 NCAA titles. Then they combined the men's and women's programs with the women's coach, JJ Clark, taking over head coaching responsibilities. This was met with outrage from track alumni who won all those championships and made Tennessee a premier track program. The track alumni were right - the program has declined ever since.

I firmly believe that one player doesn't make the team, but after watching CP shred the NFL in his rookie season I honestly believe that him staying one more season would have probably been good for about 3 more wins this year. If he stays, we clobber Georgia and Vandy and likely beat Florida in the Swamp. Tennessee is 8-4 in Jones' first season and headed to the postseason for the first time in 3 years.

Now THAT'S someone who would have made things different.

Who would've thrown him the ball?

After watching this year's offense, I'd say the best attribute last year's receiving corp had was that for the most part they were generally able to catch the football when it was thrown their way in a downfield direction.

Except for the second half of the UF game, when the season went south.

Watching Adoree's championship game now. The kid has speed yo kill, turns his hips well on defense. Had a 92 yard punt return & a 98 yard ko return so far. Plus 3 pass interference calls also. Don't know if he comes to UT or not but we can definitely use this kid.If he wants to play offense, let him, I believe he's better offensive than defensive.

I keep reading that the track program aspect is going to hurt us in the long run. Someone want to tell me how Florida's declining football program is going to appeal to Adoree? Hubbs said a few months ago that track thing was all overstated. The kid is playing on Sundays. I'm not going all Jeff Luc on this kid but we have a great shot and I think we are probably in a better position than Florida.

Does one down year mean a program is in decline? not sure if Will can win big at If but Mizzou and Aubbie shows you what a change in scheme and being healthy can do for a team. Jackson has also stated that track will be a factor in his decision. No one but AJ and his family knows how big a factor it will be. I know UF has the track coach doing as much recruit in as TRob heading into his in home. Damn sure helped FSU with JW because off baseball.

I believe Majors used the track coach as his RC. Pretty good move on his part but that was back when you could give out track scholies and have em walkon the football team.
