I say it is more like:
USC 30% - when in doubt, why not just stay close to home?
LSU 20% - Seems to have some momentum with him
UT 20% - Butch Jones and Co. are hot on the recruiting trail overall. Playing time could factor in.
UF 20% - Well, they do have the track program, and good weather.
Other 10% - You never know. He may have another one in his back pocket.
I do think this is a close race overall. I am sure USC has a lot of catching up to do, but I would also assume a lot of people around him would like for him to stay close by.
Bunch of lames in this thread... Adoree will be a vol on nsd, hopefully, and the fact that the previous coaching staff couldn't land an elite rb prospect is irrelevant... especially when the current staff landed one months and months ago.
wednesday morning defensive coordinator john jancek and defensive backs coach willie martinez were in east st. Louis to see adoree jackson's parents.
Martinez then flew on to california to see jackson himself wednesday afternoon and evening. From talking to those in jackson's family, it continues to seem like four teams are still very much in it as florida, lsu, tennessee and usc are the teams in the best shape.
But, jackson still has one more official remaining and that could be crucial come january if he takes that visit as oregon is the likely recipient of that visit. Tennessee is going to be in this one because of some family ties to tennessee and knoxville's location to east st. Louis, where jackson's family lives, but it still feels like the vols are underdogs here.
Bleacher report states chances are we probably wont land Adoree Jackson. Hope their wrong.
Tennessee Football Recruiting: 5 Positions Where Vols Are Falling Short | Bleacher Report
Adoree was heavily recruited by Serra for track and football and the family saw it as a great opportunity for Adoree to go to a school that's produced dozens of collegiate and NFL football players, a school that has won multiple track championships and it's a place where he will receive a great education as well.
