that brings up a thought. if a kid is being recruited for multiple sports, and the football "dead period" starts... can the other sports coaches recruit said player? like say when the dead period starts here shortly, can the track coach contact Jackson?.. or do all of the sports have a dead period at the same time?

January 3rd ends the dead period for track. A few weeks earlier than FB.

One thing to remember a trip to see him from a track coach counts as one of our countable FB contacts as well

yeah, i was just wondering if the track coach could call Jackson and recruit him.... and at the end of the phone call, tell him to call CBJ

just no visits? i thought there was a time where coaches werent aloud to call, tweet or email recruits.

maybe im just thinking of not being able to contact them before a certain year (junior or sophomore)

Dead period:

No visits on or off campus

One phone call per week(unlimited during contact time)

Nah. Just off the top of my head... Buthia or Buthea (pronounce boo-thee-uh) gives him the first two letters of each coaches name and the ending makes it sound girly. There's also Euthia (pronounce like yoo-thee-uh) which includes the shared letters 't' and 'h.' The possible combinations are endless. No matter how much more sense the wife might have regarding this proposal. :)

Play style is very similar. I've made the same comparison, mainly because there aren't many other corners that have that playing style.

I do think we offer him a significant raise but I have yet to read what his true opinion or happiness level with UT and Knoxville are.

:lolabove: Quite the opposite when it comes to realism. Far more fans in this forum willing to ignore reality and focus on what might be. The recruiting forum is mostly swamped by homers, I guess because it's easier to ignore what happens on the field here.

It was the same under Derek Dooley.
