I was walking down the Vol Walk, Adoree and another commit was walking behind me coming to the entrance. I overheard Adoree say how much he loved this place and said he just might be a Vol. His words, not mine. I didnt recognize him at first until i saw his picture. He was also humming Rocky Top.

Well not that I believe the poster but usually recruits are escorted by someone and have name stickers on or at least they did a few years ago when I saw a recruit at the Vol Walk. I had no idea who the hell they were until I looked up the name on here.

The air was let completely out of the room when Butch got the call from Vonn. It was right before the announcement on TV and you could hear a pin drop when they were on the phone. The coaches really believed they'd snuck in and wrangled him away from Meyer. I will never forget that feeling of complete and utter disappointment.

Though, as I'm sure you can imagine, Butch's demeanor never faltered. No more than 10 seconds went by and he said something to the effect of "We're not wasting time or energy on guys who don't want to be at Tennessee."

Yes I agree. Had Butch been here a year earlier I truly believe this year's defensive backfield would have been Cam Sutton, Jalen Ramsey at corners....Randolph and Bell at safety. I'm just saying. Eff Dooley!!!!

I disagree. We have a great DB class, but you can never ever have too many DB's. We desperately need his speed on our defense.

I'd give Adoree a slight edge in importance over Garrett. He might be the surest thing in the country. JMO.
