Can one simply hate everything gator and talk vol football? I feel this might be the place for that. If you are a rival poster there is most likely some evil intent or why be here? If you feel unjustly attacked, I suggest leaving. Next question...

maybe he wants to talk recruiting? Get over yourself and deal with it. If you have a specific issue either report the post or use the Contact Us button at the bottom. Beyond that try and keep the thread on topic

No connection, I have a few reasons. Sure, he's a 5 star cornerback, and he probably has the most pure athletic potential in the class, but what gets me interested the most is that this guy has shown genuine interest with our school, and I have stood idly by as players like Bell, Lawson, and so on went to other schools, and I'm tired of it! For once, we, the fans, have an ability to truly help our great football program on a day to day basis in a POSITIVE manner, and who here doesn't want that? I sat here in Adoree's thread and have seen it at least twice go into "give up, he's a gator" mode, and I will have none of that anymore! No more "Battered Wife" syndrome. We rallied, got interest, rallied again, got the unofficial, and it is apparent to me that we are having a significant impact on this man's recruiting! I'm setting Adoree's recruitment as the example, and want to use this style on all future "Big Fish" recruits, and feel even more proud of my team on Saturdays when we can all look at Mr. Jackson returning that big INT for a TD and being able to say "I helped bring him here!" We are constantly listed by recruit after recruit as the best fanbase, we should help the coaches and organize our attack through the social media outlets, which have proven effective, and go outrecruit those damned Gators! I am SICK of the Streak! I am SICK of the Swamp! I am SICK of Tim Tebow, Arrogant Florida fans, and this repulsive mindset that we just can't beat these damn Gators! It stops NOW, with Adoree! To hell with the Gators, and let's go get us some top football players and GO VOLS!

Rather than have rival fans on here? Yes, actually, I would. Fish around for zerodarkthirty, tidewarrior, and 99gator posts and you'll quickly learn why.

Personally think it's going to be a UF/USC battle. Track is a huge factor for him, but his parents are moving to Cali, so they might have the advantage. Regardless, none of our DBs have any effect on his recruitment.

Well it didn't really help his case that he discounted UT's progress with Adoree. You cant expect your post to be well received on a rival site when you put them out of the race. I think having Adoree come here on his own dime and enjoy his visit puts us in the thick of things. We'll see if we get an official other than the UT - Florida game, but I definitely dont hate our chances.

I expect rival fans to be fair and balanced on our site, otherwise theyre just asking for it. - JMO

I don't have a clue what a troll is so i am sure that other poster is not the only one lacking in that knowledge - im over 30, have a job, this is only message board ive ever been on, graduated college without a cell phone, so maybe im just a dinosaur

i try and fit in time to come here and get info on the team i care about - never understood how people find the time to go to rival team's boards but if i ever retire i might try it out - might be fun to piss off some gators or bammers

yeah i have a really bad bammer across the street and a gator just down the road - can't wait till we kick their $## and they have to hear me driving my UT golf cart in front of their house playing rocky top all night long!

Understandable. Not offended if some of you guys were joking around as well. I must just be used to Miami fans on 247 taking their hatred too seriously I guess. I'm not here to troll. Just like talking football and seeing recruiting from other schools' perspectives. Makes it fun and less likely to into the trap of blindly believing you will get everyone you want or fall for rumors like some boards are like.

Lol, it feels like half the state is from somewhere up north originally. But yep, I'm an Ohio-born, Buckeye-hating Gator student hailing from a Notre Dame family.

Don't mind the hatred of UF, though. I'd actually encourage it, or I would question your validity as Vol fans! By the way, congrats on the Lambert pickup. Solid player, and I wish he had chosen us.

Only reason that gator fans and other rival posters post here is the same reason a decent looking girl hangs out with fat girls.
