Obviously, it's going to be a steal if we get him. It's still a long-shot, but all we can do is hope that Butch and Co. continue to make a good impression once the Florida visit has ended.

Jackson will obviously have a lot to digest and think about, and the rivalry and bad blood between UF and UT will be exciting for him as a prized recruit.

Yeah, I posted what I did because I think we can be confident that UT will be in the running for these types of players moving forward. It's such a breath of fresh air.

I think it's been said before but I think distance may play a bigger factor than most think. We are half the distance than Fl and the drive for the weekend is much more manageable than the 14 or so hours each way to the swamp. I may be wrong but having family see him play is important to him. JMHO

he mentioned something on his twitter/ask.fm the other day about climate. he said he likes the TN climate because its what hes used to. lets just hope UF is hot and muggy while hes there

I think he seemed way more impressed with his Tennessee visit guys. He was blowing up social networking while he was here, taking pics with his dad, just looked and felt like he was having an overall great time. Was posting comments about playing with our other db commits and how he was forming a bond with them already. In the FNL pics I've seen so far he was sitting around, and everyone just looked super casual.. not a lot of excitement.

Not saying we lead or the FL visit sucked (to him) or anything like that, just my observation. I'm sure HG, F&G, LG, or one of the Gz will burst my bubble after reading haha.

Lol. Don't get your panties in a bunch. Never said UF had reinvented the wheel. Just thought it was an interesting move to have VHIII stick with Adoree. To me, that says UF is not selling depth chart, but something else.

Some of the 247 mods said the buzz last night on Adoree is that UF leads. But, I don't think there's any chance he commits while down there. I think this is a 2 team race (UF-UT) which USC being a potential player.

I was talking about this to my less-intelligent Gator friends who don't know that his family actually lives closer to UT/FL than to USC or the west coast. I think it'll come down to UF/UT/USC, but there could be a wildcard when the season starts.

I think UT would have the edge there simply because of what's going on at UT and with this "legacy" class. This is something special, something huge and that's why we have such a start going into this year.. guys want to play with this group of young men we're bringing in.

Florida always has and always will recruit well, but it's just a different animal at UT this year. That being said it'll be UT/UF. Cheers :eek:k:.

My panties aren't in a bunch. Just because I'm not buying your hype doesn't mean my panties are wadded up bro. Just means I don't give two s***s about Florida simple and plain. We had him hanging around All Americans here too...that's my point. Running over here to tell us who he was with on his visit...you thought it was a big deal and you know it.

Bold Prediction: We do similar to Ole Miss last year, and show drastic improvement and a positive future coming on the football field. Maybe go 8-5, upsetting SC, Uga, FL, Oregon, or Bama. I say we get Adoree and one other complete surprise, like Lorenzo Carter. Long time for Mouhon and Butch to work that one. Definite position of need.

I figure at the least though, with a good season Adoree will be our Nkemdiche. 5 star stud on NSD.

Solid post, but don't get ahead of yourself on that one. I love the direction we're heading and agree with you on most fronts, but Bama is just a different animal and will be for a least a couple more seasons. Every dynasty falls, just like Miami of old, USC of old, and the Tennessee of old. These teams will start climbing again, we all have to go through it at some time. I know it sounds weird, but the Bama hype (to me) is already dying. However he has enough talent on that team right now to be good for a while LOL.

You're right, you don't seem upset at all. I just post what I have, whether its good for UF or not.......do my best to stay objective. I just like this board b/c of the format and wealth of information. If Adoree had told Boom to eff off, I would've shared that also.

Anyway, I think Adoree is Gainesville until Sunday. We'll see if any more news comes out.

Well I'm sure I sound like a douche. But I mean come on man...first thing I gotta read at 6:30 this morning is how awesome Florida is. I know F&G is alright for a UF guy, but come on man. Typical Gator fan...everything UF is SOOOOOOOO much better, LOL. His trip with VH3 was so much better than his trip here....where every DB commited is a top 250 player. Even when UF fans try to be cool, there's a certain "snarky-ness" (new word) about it. They look down their noses at us. When I find something worthy of discussion about my Vols I come on here and discuss it. When they find something worthy of discussion about their Gators, they come here to discuss it. SMH. I'm sorry if some of you dig that....that's fine. But That's not how I roll.

Well he was attached at the hip to TKjr, Rashaan Gaulden, and the rest of our talented DBs while he was here. Difference being all of those guys are in HIS class, and they will be with him from beginning to end if he comes here. Doesn't seem like a huge deal, but I promise you it is. If VHSiii was in the 14 class and he was making such a big deal with being with those other guys (like he did while visiting here) I would worry more about it. Until then I'm going to go on living my life. IMOJMOTIFWIWGOVOLS.

ZeroDarkThirty and RM20 are much worse IMO. The Gator guys here are homeristic just like the other guys, but the are much more respectable than the others (except for Dep who is my fav rival poster).

I'm not mad...continue on. I'm about to go stripe my yard up as is anyway. Then I'm gonna go hang with an old buddy of mine...who bleeds orange. Probably talk some big orange football.
