I understand why Adoree likes Florida. UF always competes, and they have thumped our heads for a while now. They also have a huge fan base (that wear jorts and throw urine on people like wild animals wearing jorts) that well, I was going somewhere with this and lost it. I just can't bring myself to say nice things about UF. Only good Gator is fried IMO.

Keep in mind he wasn't sure about coming to Knoxville until a day or two prior to coming.im not trying to be negative....just real. The only thing IMO Florida has on us is that they've won lately. That's not homerism, that's how I see it. Seeing him holding the NC trophy in Knoxville said alot. It says we've been there done that too. Our stadium is better, Knoxville is better. Gainesville smells like hotdog water...the entire city. Stereotypically one would think Knoxville is redneckish. But actually Gainesville is loaded with backwoods hicks.

Point being...it's easy to listen to the douches on ESPN rant and rave about certain programs, Florida included. But him coming to Knoxville helps put things in perspective for him. Programs might have seen a bit more success the past few years, but we've got a big time program on the hill. As big as they come. I think he realizes that.

The urine thing happened. I had gone to Gainesville 4 times to games and there was at least 2 games where the Florida fans, probably students, would throw cups with urine in them on Tennessee fans sitting below the upper deck under them. They threw dozens of cups of ice on the fans below. We quit going down there about 14 years ago because of the way they treated Tennessee fans. We would not stay in Gainesville we always stayed in Valdosta because I refused to spend money there. I hate that place.

It's a thing down there. My roommates were down there for the game 2 years ago and had piss thrown on them as well.

I don't necessarily mean because he coaches kids hard. I don't have a problem with that. I just have more of a problem with the way it comes across as very belittling, in my opinion.... and that he is constantly, constantly yelling and acting like a big, wet, flapping douchebag.
