Kind of late to try and get in on the 4th rated QB in the country IMO. If CBJ wanted to get an early offer to the kid in person, I could have made the trip over there months ago.

UCLA, ASU, Ohio State, Notre Dame and Alabama figure to be some of the schools with the best shot at Allen with a decision nearing.

If we want in on the top players, we have to evaluate them quicker. Once a top recruit has 15-20 offers before you offer, your fighting an uphill battle for sure.

Not that I can tell. He will announce his top 5 on Tuesday. 247 does not seem to think it would include us. I guess anything is possible. IMO, we were late offering this kid.

Not much of a 'Crystal Ball' though. They're simply practicing cause and effect. I was hopeful the experts would have some real insight.

It's pretty clear, the concept looks better on paper than in reality. The experts just take guesses --- like we do.
