I didn't say that at all. Sometimes waiting around for one guy will screw up any chance you have with all QBs
More from Andrew Bone...
"Doss measured 6-2, 218-pounds at the Rivals camp. I think he may be a shade under 6-2. He isn't 6-0 though, definitely taller.
Most schools have recruited him as an athlete. The good thing about Doss is that he has the size and athleticism to play other positions. Does he want a shot at QB? Of course he does. However I think he is open minded. He knows he is more in the "athlete" category. I think Tennessee is recruiting him as an athlete. Will they take his commitment? I don't know the answer to that. He believes they will. Paul will be able to shed more light. I am sure we will all find out this weekend. I'll be sure to post as soon as I hear something one way or the other. "
"Haven't heard anything about that, but I'll let you know if I hear anything.
At first glance, I think that might be some people jumping to conclusions based on Tennessee's quarterback board getting a bit short on names. A lot of people I've talked to aren't sure Doss will end up playing quarterback in the SEC."

Does Doss have a committable offer from UT? (question from a poster)
"I think Tennessee wants to see him in camp."
Not too shabby, although his completion percentage could be better.
Sounds good for us, I'd like another situation where we could take another dual-threat guy and look for a second pro-style guy if possible.
I'd like to have that situation as well. Another Shaffer/Ainge type of battle. I was about 15 durning that season and I remember being so excited to watch them battle it out their 1st year. I thought Shaffer was going to be so good. Lol. I'd love to bring in two guys like that again. I just really want a QB who can hurt you with his legs at any time but who can throw accurately as well. Those guys are a defensive coordinators worst nightmare.
SN: This guy reminds me of a thicker/stronger former Notre Dame quarterback--Everett Golson. They're even ranked almost the
same by rivals:

Kendrick Doss - Yahoo! Sports
