T.J. Posey - Yahoo! Sports

No 247 profile page up at this point.

UT just offered Posey. Has offers from Arkansas and Purdue per Rivals. He has offers from Ark, Purdue, MTSU, Miss. St., and Ark St. per 247.

Wants to go to UT, Miss. St., Bama, and maybe Purdue for games.

Perfect example of why hiring seasoned southern recruiters was key. Thigpen and Graham will have us in on some good talent. Elder seems like he might turn out well too.

T.J. is a great kid and would be a huge pick up for us. Gadsden City High School was a pipeline to UA but they have a new coach now so hopefully that will change. I've done my part in telling him how awesome Big Orange country is.

Gadsden is a Bama pipeline school for the highly ranked kids. They have had several 3 star ranked kids go elsewhere in the past few years. AU, Ole Miss, Kentucky, So Miss, etc. signed a kid from there in 2011 alone. I know he has been to Bama a few times on visits but I would be surprised if Bama offered anytime soon. I havent seen Bama offer a 5'11-6'0 tall LB in a long time, just doesnt seem to fit a 3-4. So I wouldnt look at them as a major factor in his recruitment. UT has a great chance to land him, imo.

gadsden city high school has a ton of talent at the school...if they have the right coach no one in the state would beat them in 6a

I think Prattville can match them year in and year out. I've never seen a team that stays big in the trenches like that every year. Country boys eating good down there.
