Personally like to see them trade down and get some extra picks. Don't really see any franchise changers in this years draft. Position wise I would like to see them draft a solid pass rushing DE and go from there. Need CB help as well.

I'll take a stab at it. Nothing happened to Cam Newton and nothing has happened to Miami- both cases, in lieu of the evidence, were open and shut where sanctions shouldve all but shut the programs down. There, stab, though very brief, is now complete

That's why taking a stab and reading the future is inaccurate and foolish at best. There, valid assessment.

Ok what makes you think something will happen? Remember you have the strong yet fair history of ncaa rulings to fall back on. If it was a trust fall...ouch.

Really think we are not even on his radar at this point. He is Auburn or Bama I think. Would love to have him here obv. Of the two hope he does go to Auburn if not gonna be a Vol.

Can't predict future, but can make an educated guess based on historical evidence and actions of the institution in question. That's all. Doesn't rise to the insult of being called foolish imo.

Hey KBVol, my definition of foolish on VN is trying argue with sanddune50! Tifwiw. No offense to you intended, more an advisement of dangerous internet conditions ahead of you if you try to logically argue any point with sd50. :hi: :)

Duly noted Doc. Thanks for the heads up. IMO there are a few vampires on here that logic and reason appear to hit like holy water. Gotta say that OskieVolum is my own "white whale". It never ceases to amaze me how 2 people observing the same thing can "see" said thing 180 degrees differently. All in good fun though.

Historical evidence of an institution that is inconsistent would suggest that none of us know how any of this will play out with Auburn.

Foolish was a strong word, kind of took your reply as a little snarky with the whole 'take a stab'....'there' etc.

Can't say I remember having any exchanges with you, but I take it one of your 'logical' arguments fell flat in the past. Gotta either be sour grapes or you just enjoy butting in to conversations. Don't know which, and don't really care.

I would say we shouldn't underestimate Coach Thig is this one, not saying he will pull Hamilton, but something I'm learning about Coach Thigpen is that if he's after a guy it's anybody's guess. The recruits seem to love him, so hey who knows?
