Why not make a thread when ("if," really) we do become a factor, then?

Not trying to be offensive, just curious.

After watching this kids highlights I can't help but see the likes of many greats.
6'3" 210lb
4.4 fourty
Cali JUCO

Courtney Gardner

I'm going to say it. He is on CP's level.
LSU is the favorite, and its probably there if he can figure it out academically.

poor quality highlights..

On the other hand, the GOOD news is he'll be at LSU where a QB can't throw within a mile of a wide open receiver. LSU, where QB's and WR's go to die.

Guys like CP don't fall off trees every year.

This kid is impressive but he is not on CP's level. Not even close. He probably won't even start at LSU. Beckham, J Wright, and Landry will probably be all ahead of him.

There's not a more athletic 6'3 guy I've ever seen than CP. None of them could run and cut like him. Had UGA gotten CP then they would be playing ND. If we see another guy at his level as an athlete(height, speed, playmaking ability) then he'll be the No.1 prospect in the country.

This kid may have some of the same skill set as CP. But like I said, IMO he isn't on CP's level.

Against UF's secondary, CP had 8 catches for 75 yards and a score. I think Gardner could be good but it doesn't sound like he will qualify. I did find this interesting though.

Gardner can bench 315 and squats 425, and in high school he won the state championship in the long jump and triple jump (48’6) and has posted a long jump of 25’7 which was the best jump in Louisiana during his prep years. He has run a 10.67 in the 100-meters and he has run a 21.4 in the 200-meters.

CP ran a 10.33 in the 100.

He declared for the nfl draft because he didn't qualify.

NFL Draft Blitz

Courtney Gardner is one of the true 'Diamond's in the Rough' of the 2013 NFL Draft. His triangle numbers of height, weight and speed make him one of the most intriguing prospects available at the receiver position. He's 6-foot-3 1/2, 224 pounds, ran the 100 meters in 10.67 seconds in high school, won two state long jump titles and caught 61 passes for 1,099 yards with 13 touchdowns last season.
