I think he's stated that Michigan leads, which is probably the product of our tanked season and Dooley's departure. But I agree: I think our staff just needs some time to build a relationship, and we should be good to go.

Auburns chances walked out the door when Luper was not retained. With Knoxville being so close, his relationship with Jay Graham, and his mother liking UT.. I think that's a LOT to overcome.

I'd be very cautious about laughing at other teams and boasting that UT leads.

Does anyone have a direct quote from Green saying UT leads? Or at least a quote from a major recruiting service saying that? I don't know that I've seen one. Thus my concern about where we stand with Green.
