They are playing like they really believe in themselves...they are just over matched in the talent category.
If he nails it in recruiting, they could be pretty tough in the future. We need to establish ourselves in Memphis in a big way to shut down that pipeline for him.
I'm currently very happy with Carr, and I wouldn't shake a stick at Gray either.
I hope brother Hart understands how badly all the "Dooley on the hot seat" talk is hurting us in recruiting elite players. Opposing coaches are using these boards with recruits, telling them that Dooley will most likely not be here and they will end up playing for an unknown coach.
Hart has been around football programs long enough that he knows how destructive this can be and that the best way to negate it is to give Dooley either a new contract or an extension to the existing one, preferably giving him a raise while he is at it to make it more convincing. Hart can protect himself and the university buried down in the fine print with a clause of some sort or perhaps in a separate contract of some type.
Hart and the AD attorneys can find a way to make it work if they understand how badly this subject is hurting us in recruiting. Hopefully we will beat MSU this weekend and that would be the perfect occasion to do this. If we lose that game, Hart will have to decide if he really wants to keep Dooley and if the answer is "yes" he will have to be creative and use some imagination.

If Graham is retained, nothing will change.

your absolutely right mlsoft....all these fans need to get behind this team and the coaches and send word to Hart to give Dooley the much needed extension.... this program is headed in the right direction...although these overnight success fans can't see that.....
you mad bro?
LMAO!!!!
An extension? For what? LOSING? I love the overnight success talk. The man has had 3 years! This team plays very similar to how they did 2 years ago. Yes, the roster looks better, the problem is the product on the field looks worse. A raise? Are you kidding me? These fools have lost it.
your right my friend ..i'm mad...i went to my first game when Lester Mcclain was playing for the big orange and to see all these "fans" throw away the last 3 years of progress that this coaching staff has put together just hits a nail with me....if you are a TRUE fan of this football team then show it....Dooley has brought this team from nearly the death penalty....to now with one win ..possibly being back in the top 25....I know it's not fast enough for most of you but have patience ..we're heading in the right direction and will get there.....
