'13 VA RB Derrick Green (Michigan commit)

If he was smart, (he'd go to UT :)) he'd go to Clemson over OSU. Meyer can't utilize him like Clemson can.

Tennessee running backs coach Jay Graham stopped by Hermitage High School earlier this week to check in on the tailback target. The two have known each other for about a year and a half now so there is a comfort level between the pair.

"He said it was good to see me again," Green said. "He filmed me going through my drills and going through my plays and stuff. He's someone that I think will keep '100' with me as far as he's someone that won't lie to me. He tells me the truth. He hits me up on Facebook. I like the way he operates."

Green has 32 offers and as stated, he wants to see as many schools as possible to give him the clearest picture of where he best fits in. He's been to Knoxville previously and he hopes to get make it back down to Rocky Top sometime this summer.

"I'm trying to set something up with coach Graham to get back down there this summer," Green said of his plans for an unofficial visit. "I want to sit down with more of the coaches including the head coach. I want to meet some of the players and get to know them. I'd like to see that new facility they've built."

Pittsburgh, Mississippi State and Alabama offered last week. Green is now up to 32 total offers.

I also found this from Clemson's Rivals website:
Tennessee running backs coach Jay Graham swung by on Monday.

"He's a great recruiter and coach," Green said. "He couldn't say a lot. He saw me going through all of my drills. He recorded everything. I want to get something set up where I can go there soon."

They sweatin us? Man, I really hope Jay pays off the way we all thought he could before he got here.. I remember most thought we would get Porter, but Jay was a pipe dream..

220lbs and runs a 4.3 40 as a high school junior.. This is what we've been missing boys! This could be crucial.

It'll be interesting to see who we take at RB, like VFL10 said we're in on so many good RBs.

I like the fact that every scout out there acknowledges that he is capable of 30+ carries per game. I don't think we would lean on him that hard but he's big, durable, and has speed. Lattimore Jr.

would be nice to have a rb the defense has to worry about, even just a little bit
