'13 VA RB Derrick Green (Michigan commit)

So this Inhome with CBJ is tonight? Or already happened? I thought they rescheduled Harris for tonight? Just hoping for clarification..i

Butch already had his in home with Green. They were there Thursday night. He was the first head coach to go see Green. He went because Green requested that he come. Good sign IMO...

Q looked faster than Pig. Pig looked like he could break a tackle better. I think Q in space gets to mask his deficiencies and show his strengths. Pig on the field at the same time in the slot would be fun.

And Skeeter never said he would be killing it as a FR. Said once he trusts his knee he will be a great RB for UT.
You DID say that though... and were wrong. :) That said... I agree with you on the last part. He showed what made him a really big target prior to the injury. He has good quickness and instincts.

I also think Graham's presence was a very big deal.

Bonner will be a beast as well, I hope nobody actually trusted that staff we just had to be competent enough to get the best players on the field, especially on D.

I actually feel more confident of that the more I think about the staff Jones is bringing. He's a gung ho guy which really should be a good change for the team. His Cincy guys all seem to have a history of getting the best out of lesser players. I hope they can do great things with good or better players.

I agree on Davis and Hill, but you must admit not many names considering an entire conference. Maybe 5th or 6th best and possibly THE best incoming freshman. again imo.

I originally heard that he was an EE and it was coming in October, then November, and then December. Last thing I heard was he was leaning towards scrapping the idea of being an EE. However, IMO it will be interesting to keep an eye on him. I know the VQ guys have said that they believe we are at the top basically tied with Michigan. I also know skeeter said he and his family loved the visit for the Florida game. Keeping Graham really gives us an advantage. Just my guess but I like our chances.

Good to hear, he's at the top of my wish list for this class along with Bell.

Yah, that post confuses me. If there's one thing Watson does have it's speed.

Well--just check out his carries against SEC teams for reference...How many wide runs did he have where he beat them to the corner? Weren't LBs running him down? I think he is a good kid, but he's extremely small and PIG looks better....

It's just an opinion from the few plays he had...not begging folks to agree...but Q definitely ain't the small, fast guys that Fla has had in the past. That's all I'm trying to say....not dissing on the kid....he may look faster next year after a year of S&C training. :salute:
