I'm certainly no expert, it looks to me like he short arms it on his throws. Nice footwork and mobility though.

As I've mentioned before, huge potential. He's been offered an Army All-American spot as well. Visited PSU last week, and was gonna visit UVA with Johnathan Allen today, but they instead attended the funeral or 2012 Stanford commit Alex Carter's younger sister, who tradgically died recently. Burns is originally from Wyoming. He will visit Stanford soon, they offered early and are serious contenders for him.

I did not see much of that. Thought he had a very good delivery and hit the receivers in stride and appears to have a strong arm.

With Hackenberg off the board, Burns will probably be one of Tennessee's top targets at QB. Apparently, when Burns and Hackenberg were both at PSU's junior day a few weeks ago, Burns was really close to committing to Penn State, and they were the favorite. Now, that changes. Virginia, Stanford and Tennessee are probably the main schools involved here at this point.

UT is amping up recruiting on Burns. I'd bet he is #1 on the QB board.

The Burns obviously have a hectic spring ahead but are contemplating heading south to check out a practice once the Volunteers get underway on March 26 or possibly taking in the Orange & White game at Neyland Stadium on April 21.

They wanted to check out Rocky Top last July but the recruiting circuit got the better of them.
