Blessing and a curse when it comes to someone like this. Better pay this man because if he keeps this up hes going to be a hot commodity next year.

Agreed, different perspectives keeps people with a decent head on their shoulders grounded. I appreciate the Bruin's of the world being on the board.

It would suck if all these boards were "Such and such stopped at a rest stop that has a Vol shot glass. This must mean something. Vol lean IMO."

We are not going to get them all, but the fact that we are in on some really talented recruits going down the final stretch after a 5-7 season speaks volumes of how hard the new staff is working.

Bruin after a recruit says that he wants to commit right now but is going to let his family know first: "He is driving back home so IMO that means he is still strong with the home team.. I just don't think we have ever been in this one."

Bruin after said recruit commits: "..... I had a vision he is going to be involved in a fatal car accident. Not a part of class IMO."

Give us very little chance in this one. It sucks as he could see PT very early here. LB is one of the biggest needs we have. You would think with CM and AJ getting all the reps as young guys, other recruits would see that and consider Tennessee a great option. Maybe if CBJ and staff prove to be actual coaches and the defense shows a heartbeat, recruits will notice.

Tuesday, Thigpen was in the home of EJ Levenberry as the Vols have some momentum there. Levenberry has always liked Tennessee but he didn't have a good relationship with Sal Sunseri dating back to when he was at Alabama. But, Thigpen has the Vols poised to receive a visit from the Army All-American linebacker as his father let us know they are scheduled to be in Knoxville on Jan. 25.

Sunseri and Smart were not interested for him at UA. Never knew the reason just after I think a visit stopped pushing for him.

We have the opportunity to land some key players this year. Carl Lawson, Levenberry, Derrick Green, and Vonn Bell. I think we are in a great position and have a ton of momentum with Levenberry, Green, and Lawson. Hopefully we land them all as they'll be instrumental in our success in the near future.

All I can say is WOW!!!!!!

It is hard not to get excited with the possibilities and who we are "in on" right now. I hope the new staff can pull them.

The fact this New staff is getting all this big time talent to still consider us speaks volumes for their recruiting ability and how kids feel about them. Getting more and more optimistic each day

very true...but keep in mind that we are in on these type of guys every year. It's very easy to get your hopes up. Just remember to take all the information out there with a grain of salt but do hope we are fortunate enough to get at least one these top recruits.

I do like what this staff is doing...setting the foundation for the future Vol recruits and this team.
