'13 VA LB E.J. Levenberry (FSU commit)

Staley visited EJ...

"It was nice talking to him. He would to be my coach down there and my dad away from home so it's real good starting this relationship with him," Levenberry said. "We kind of have a lot of time, but it's limited, now. So, it was good to talk to him and start this relationship with him."

"Tennessee had the best game day atmosphere," Levenberry said. "I've been to a lot of stadiums and even when they lost it was still loud and the way they treat their players and their family - they have recruits in one section and then the families (of players) in the other on the front row. So, right when you walk out the tunnel you see them. I like that.

"I'm just going to just take all my information in. God blessed me with a gift and I'm still committed to Florida State but I'm going to keep my options open because things happen and things change because in this day and age you never know what's going to happen," Levenberry said. So, from what my dad and LaVar Arrington and Rico McCoy, who played at Tennessee, they told me I need to take all of my visits because this is a business and if something happens with plan A you can always go with plan B."

McCoy, who's from the same area as Levenberry, has known him for a while and has let him know what it would be like to play at Tennessee.
"He told me Tennessee was a great place and he loves it there. He was there when coach Chavis was there so he was telling me how it's big boy ball in the SEC and they have NFL plays," Levenberry said. "Like, if you're in one formation and the quarterback checks into another the defense checks to something different. He was telling me how you have to act like a student-athlete at the next level."

I feel like this guy would be a fairly easy flip. Looks like he really wanted to be here all along.

This one is a head scratcher. It's a lot like the Geno Smith situation last year. Dooley should've been caned for screwing that up.

The more you learn about Dooley, the more you realize how unorganized and unprepared he was... just wow.

It's not even that, it's the fact that he was so unorganized and unprepared after year 3.... Hate to see the details after year 1.

What happened to trip?

He visited for the O&W game in Dooley's first year. He contacted the recruiting office and told them that he would be there, but our coaches didn't know and didn't talk to him. He was a UT fan growing up but that incident turned him off.

Of course he was arrested at UF fairly recently, but that was still bad publicity.

Not really fair. That kid was hooked onto Troopers towel from the beginning.

I guess. Wasn't he the one who Eric Berry was pushing hard for UT to offer? I thought I remembered hearing he was all UT until he got snubbed. Maybe not though.

Holsey, Geno Smith, Levenberry, Vonn Bell, Trae Elston, Redmond, AJ Turman, Sheldon Dawson(must we go on), kinda funny these guys play positions of need huh. Dooley sucked ass man.

Berry tweeted about us not offering him. That's it. I don't think we missed out on Holsey. There were better guys that we should've offered or pursued.

We offered Holsey almost immediately after we heard word that his mother told somebody, "He's just waiting on Tennessee to offer so we can get this over with." It seriously was just a couple of days after that comment, and he never showed any interest after his offer.
