'13 VA LB E.J. Levenberry (FSU commit)

This is the first recruit the new staff should have been in contact with.

Hopefully they've finished their evaluations of him and get on this guy hard (no homo, of course). Maybe even throw a little hot sauce at him...

As good as recruiters are Dooley & his staff may be, it seems like there are a lot of cases where kids aren't getting the attention they warrant. Then an article like this comes out & the staff realizes they've made a mistake.

Surely, it couldn't be because his primary recruiter was replaced along with 5 other coaches, and we have to decide which recruiters need to recruit what territory.

Sunseri should be the primary recruiter here regardless of whose territory it is.

Cooled on UT because he hasn't heard from the new coaching staff. Don't think it's a new quote, but:

“He really liked Tennessee, the school and the fans,” Levenberry Sr. said of his son. “We haven't had a game day experience like that...It's going to be hard pressed to beat the fans at Tennessee...That's when they were losing. Imagine them if they were winning.”

Running around without 6 coaches. Dools and Co. should have the recruiting engine fully restored and souped-up very shortly. The relationships were there before and remain today. It's Feb. Man I can't wait for the 2012 season and 2013 recruiting class to unfold. Gonna be an exciting year boys.

Now lets get back on E.J. It's clear we were very highly thought of and have a legit shot here.

This guy should be at the top of the "Recruits we should maybe probably most likely definitely call list"

Yeah, saw on ESPN where Saban, Fisher, and Hoke are all vying for his affections. I don't really know why we seem to have dropped out of this one for the time being, especially considering that it seemed like we might be in position to lead early on this past fall. Maybe Sunseri doesn't quite see him fitting into our scheme (although that's hard to believe) or maybe they've had other priorities so far (although that's also hard to believe). Hopefully we will get back in it with Levenberry bigtime here shortly.
