We seem to be getting mixed signals from Miles. He's talking about taking visits one minute and trying to convince Massington to join him at UT the next.

Oh the one we already have. Yep those two might get the start over Randolph in two years. I like Randolph but McNeil and Miles both seem like they could be our best two in two years, in my amateur opinion.
He took a visit to Arizona St. with one of his teammates who committed to them. I wouldn't say that's mixed signals from him, he seems very firm in his commitment.
"I'm a soft commit," Miles said of his Tennessee pledge. "Arizona State has made a strong impression on me. It's a possibility that I would commit to them. Dimarya and Will committing there plays a minor factor, but that is something I will think about. (ASU) Coaches said that I could play here as a true freshman.*"I'm planning to visit UCLA sometime. I don't have any other visits planned."

Take from that what you want. A month ago, he seemed like one of our most solid commits. Then this article a few weeks later. Now he is in Massington's ear about UT. Seems like mixed signals to me. Call it what you want.
Post-visit hype. Miles was extremely excited coming off a visit, as a guy in his position should be. He's a teenager being treated like royalty by Division I colleges. He has every right to be confused after a visit. That said, it sounds like that may have worn off and he stayed firm. JMO though
Yesterday, the Dallas Morning News ran a story about the effects that injuries suffered during recruits' senior years had on their recruitment. One of the examples they used was Massington.
Massington had committed to USC, but went to a summer camp at Tennessee where he tore his ACL. Subsequent contact with USC coaches confirmed his commitment despite the injury. This was a positive example of how schools held firm to those recruits already committed but suffer an injury during their senior year. Not all schools do that.
Now, while USC coaches were not happy that Massington attended another school's camp (especially Tennessee's), they stuck with their recruit. Hats off to them. But what was more impressive was the fact that Dooley walked over to Massington immediately after his injury and offered him a scholarship. Now that is a class act.
Per Kameron Miles' thread, Miles is still working on Massington. If Massington were to flip, you can bet that Dooley's actions at the summer camp will have played a big role.
Unfortunately, the FB forum is proof enough that a good portion of our fanbase doesn't care about class or integrity as much as they care about wins.
