With all the schools swooping in on that guy, I'd say we should focus on the guys we have relationships with. As it gets closer to crunch time, seems we need to go after guys we have a real chance of getting.

This guy hasn't had a relationship with anyone but Oregon for over half a year.

Rivals lists a UT offer and recruited by Charlie Coiner. The old staff must have recruited him at least a little. Doubt anything happens but would be nice if he were interested.

Too much wrong in this thread to know where to begin. Dontre will announce plans by Monday, per his hs coach, as of today.

Just so you know, this is what happens when there’s a big fish sighting. Regardless of how not-even-remotely-interested-in-Tennessee the kid is, if he’s got 5-stars then he’ll have a thread. That’s another reason why we got so many non-Vols on here.

Whom on the staff is recruiting Texas with Coiner gone? It seen like with all the talent coming from Georgia and Florida we should at least have a little presence in Texas---although I know Butch and his guys probably didn't focus all their recruiting there while at Cincinnati.

I think that demographics have changed to the point that you can survive on a healthy diet of North Georgia, Tennessee, the Carolinas, Alabama and Virginia. Throw in some Florida and Southern Ohio and they can put together a decent team season to season.

Am I saying we should stop recruiting Louisiana and Texas? No. But kinda I am.

big whoop he has 4 stars. He weighs 178 and runs a 4.5. Not quick enough to be that small and survive in the SEC

While I don't see the kid coming here, if Chip Kelly felt he was fast enough to play at Oregon, I would think he could play here.

Rucker just retweeted our very own JHop, referencing a report about Oregon coaches leaving.

Didn't know where to post this but I figured the recruiting guys would get a kick out of it. He was a great poster.
